Walter Harold Trice

My grandfather was born on 25 November 1860 at 16 Church Grove, Lewisham, the son of David Trice and Elizabeth Ann Reed.
Baptised St Peters Eaton Square, Pimlico 19 Jun 1878

Elizabeth Ann Reed married Aaron Twyman 11 Apr 1882 in Kings, New York, United States

After his mother died in Chicago on 14 August 1906, Walter married Ellen Ruth Leckie, 22 Dec 1906 and he returned to England with his wife and step father, Aaron Twyman, and went to live in Teignmouth, Devon.
Ellen died on 16 January 1911 at the aged 45, of pulmonary tuberculosis. Aaron described Walter as an artist at this time.By March 1912 Aaron had moved to Christchurch, where he died at the age of 72.
I believe that Walter then moved to Exeter where he found work as an attendant at the Workhouse.

At some time after the death of his first wife Walter married his second wife, Rose Ellen Hoyle, and together they had five children
